Familien-Film-Live-Konzert: „Die unendliche Geschichte“
The team of this years´ sehsüchte film festival is proud of announcing Andreas Dresen as its patron. Not originally from Potsdam, the most popular German film producer nevertheless returns to well-known territory: Dresen studied at the HFF, todays Film University Babelsberg, from 1986-1991. This is a good reason for him to come back to Potsdam: “Unbelievably, I am connected to to the Film University and the festival for 30 years now. One more reason to celebrate!” Moreover, Dresen believes that film festivals offer special opportunities for meeting: “Especially young producers can test their ideas and get inspired.”
The jury is already complete with Martin Langer, Florian Bartholomäi, Lana Cooper, Henriette Lippold, Dagmar Seume and Jamila Wenske. In 2017, the festival´s focus is on childrens´ and youth films. Anne Frank actress Lea Van Acken and Timm Thaler actor Arved Friese are part of the youth jury.
The 46. Student´s Film Festival sehsüchte takes place from April 26 to May 1.
