The UFA FICTION production FAMILIENFEST has been awarded as “Best TV Drama” at this year´s Deutscher Fernsehpreis. Director Lars Kraume staged the TV drama, being very successful in cinemas in October 2015, and won the prize for “Best Direction”. The UFA three-part series KU´DAMM 56 was honoured as well. Moreover, Sonja Gerhardt was awarded “Best Actress” and scriptwriter Anette Hess won in the category “Best Script”. With altogether 4 awards UFA FICTION is this year´s most awarded production company. Both FAMILIENFEST and KU´DAMM 56 were produced by UFA for ZDF. The top-class FAMILIENFEST ensemble includes Lars Eidinger, Hannelore Elsner, Günther Maria Halmer, Michaela May, Jördis Triebel and Barnaby Metschurat. The award-winning KU´DAMM 56 featured amongst others Claudia Michelsen, Emilia Schüle, Maria Ehrich, Sabin Tambrea and Uwe Ochsenknecht.
