Familien-Film-Live-Konzert: „Die unendliche Geschichte“
The filming for the bestseller-adoption ICH BIN DANN MAL WEG after the nonfiction book of Hape Kerkeling started on August 4th. Hape Kerkeling is embodied by Devid Striesow in the film. In addition Martina Gedeck, Karoline Schuch, Katharina Thalbach, Annette Frier, Inez Bjørg David and Birol Ünel complete the top-class cast.
Until the end of September the film will be shot under the direction of Julia von Heinz ("Hannas Reise", "Hanni und Nanni 2") in Brandenburg, Berlin and in original locations along the Way of St. James. With over four million sold copies, Hape Kerkelings bestseller is one of the most successful german nonfiction books of all time and was on the top of the bestseller-list for over 100 weeks.
ICH BIN DANN MAL WEG is a production of UFA CINEMA in co-production with Warner Bros. Film Production and the Gesellschaft für Feine Filme. The film is funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, the German Federal Film Board and the German Federal Film Fund (DFFF). The Babelsberg as well as the Requisitenfundus Studio Babelsberg provide the equipment for the film.
