On March 20, 21 and 23, the ZDF screened the new UFA-Fiction production „KU'DAMM 56" in the primetime at 20:15. The series was shooted from Juli until October 2015 under the direction of Sven Bohse. The script is written by Annette Hess, whose series „Weissensee" has already been a great success. „KU'DAMM 56" portrays the life of four women in a Berlin dance school in 1956, which becomes the venue of the fight between prudery and sexual revolution, Rock ‚n Roll signifies. Furthermore, the series is nominated as one of 12 international high-end-drama-series, which will be presented to program buyers and trade press from all over the world within the frame of the MIPDrama Screening in April in Cannes.
