Film education, film research and film art on university standards will also be possible in Germany for the first time: In order to confirm its unique profile and cement its position on an international level, the "Konrad Wolf" Potsdam-Babelsberg Film and Television Academy will become a film university of the federal state of Brandenburg. The transformation will take place onJuly 8th 2014 in the frame of the official ceremonial act.
