Action and horror currently dominate the productions of Studio Babelsberg. These productions are not only shot in the studio, but mostly on various original scenes in the capital, Berlins' environs, in Baden-Württemberg or on Malta and in Croatia. 'The Lake'; 'Homeland' and 'A Cure for Wellness' are the titles of the series. The fifth season of 'Homeland' is shot in an unusual high pace since the broadcast in the US should already start in October; the last shooting day is in mid-November. There should be more than 200 sets, the 12 episodes cost over 40 million euro. One Million is funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. Beside Claire Danes we will also see Sebastian Koch and Alexander Fehling. 500 to 700 crew members help to fulfil the big plan to deliver TV in cinema quality.
