The Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb) announced Stefan Westphal to be the new director of the Medieninnovationszentrums Babelsberg (MIZ). The 46-year old at the same time takes over the management of the MIZ sponsoring company Medienkompetenz und Innvationsförderung Berlin-Brandenburg (mibb) and will take office on the 15th of August 2017.
He was founder and CEO of a media start-up and was last responsible for the digital company communication in the innovative further development at Bosch Car Multimedia.
Stefan Westphal is an educated journalist and worked amongst others for the Norddeutsche Rundfunk (NDR). Stefan Westphal follows Dr. Tanja Deuerling who took over the Chairman position of MIZ Babelsberg in January 2017.
